Obituary for Richard John Mann

Richard John Mann
Mann, Richard John
A gentleman and a scholar has left us much too soon.
Age 68, from Arvada, Colorado. He was born in Racine, WI on 10/5/48 and
passed away 2/12/17. He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Mildred Mann, his brothers Paul Schulz and Tom Schulz and sister Marilynne Thompson.
Rich had a quest for knowledge that was never ending. He loved to share what he knew about so many things...hockey, football, tennis, books, movies, to name a few, but most of all Chess...which he learned to play at an early age and played all of his life, recently attaining the status of Internationally Rated Grand Master.
Rich received a BA in Liberal Arts and an MHSA from Arizona State University, and an MIS from University of Colorado/Denver.
He is survived by his devoted wife Kathryn, sons Christopher(Denisea) Mann, Jeffrey Mann, Timothy Mann and Tadd (Amy) Morris. Also four grandchildren: Jacob Mann, Johnathan Morris, Rebecca Morris and Enick Osantowski.
His sisters Mary Ellen (Paul) Kaster, and Kathleen (Neil) Hutchinson.
His very special Nephew Shen (Ema) Schulz and sons Bodhi and Kai. And of course his beloved puppies Maggie Rose and Muggsy!
Dad/Rich…you left us much too soon and we will love and miss you forever.
Memorial services were held at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Arvada on February 20th, officiated by his dear friend Pastor John Anderson.
