



Obituary of Gilbert Benjamin LeDoux
Gilbert (Gil) LeDoux, born in Las Vegas, NM to parents Charles LeDoux and Felícitas Archuleta, passed away peacefully at home on February 7, 2023.
He is survived by two daughters: Peggy Sue, Cherie; five grandchildren: BJ, Stephanie, Mindy, Nick, Tony; four great grandchildren: Jacob, Ezekiel, Lorenzo, Isaac; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife, Bunny, and his son, Dean.
Gil joined the Merchant Marines at age 15 - serving in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan. He then enlisted in the Army/Air Force - serving in Manila, Philippines; Tokyo, Japan; Kansas; Texas; Washington, DC; and Colorado. He received an honorable discharge as Corporal at the age of 21.
After returning to the states, Gil eventually began a career in construction, receiving many accolades along the way. A craftsman at heart, he could often be found repairing or building something in his home or tinkering in his yard.
Gil was an avid fisherman, skilled pool and ping pong player, and loved gambling at Blackhawk and cheering for the Colorado Rockies and Denver Broncos.
An honorable man, Gil treated everyone he met with respect and kindness. Beloved by family and friends, he will be missed greatly.
Funeral services will take place on March 1, 2023.
