Obituary of William F Owens

William F. Owens, “Bill” passed away on November 22, 2022 at his home in Arvada, Colorado.  Bill was born on March 14, 1931 in Downers Grove, IL.  Bill married Luella (Lue) Krips on 05/02/53. Bill served in the United States Navy from 1951 until 1954. Bill was also a member of the Lakewood Bancroft Fire Department for 27 years.    Bill’s passion was being outdoors and loved hunting, fishing, traveling, training his dogs, and most of all spending time with his family. 

Surviving Bill are his wife Lue , his children, Rick Owens (Lisa Katzenmeier), Randy Owens, Susan Owens-Popp (Don Popp) and grandchild Sarah Berringer and husband Christian. 

Services for Bill will be December 16th, 2022 at Aspen Mortuary 1350 Simms St. Lakewood, CO at 9:30 a.m.  A reception will be held at The Sheraton Hotel, 360 Union Blvd, Lakewood CO 80228 from 10:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  Inurnment will be held at Ft. Logan Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. for those who wish to come.  Please be at Staging Area B by 1:15pm.
