Joyce Elaine (nee Nicholson) Withrow, MacKinnon, Nolden

Joyce Elaine Nolden, age 78, passed away on July 12 2023. Born Dec 12, 1944 in Duluth MN. She moved to Colorado in the mid 60s and called that home ever since.

She graduated from Metro State College of Denver with an RN. She worked as a home hospice nurse from 83-88 with Hospice of St John and from 88-97 with Hospice of Metro Denver. She then joined Family Practice and until 2007 when she retired. She had a gift for caring and worked to brighten others day. She loved music and played cello. She also sang in church choir as well as the Arvada Center Chorale and the Alpine Chorale. She will be sorely missed by many.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hollis Nicholson and Lily (Olsen) Nicholson, sister Patricia Steltzer and her husband Dennis Nolden. She is survived by her children Robert (Theresa) Withrow, Valerie Withrow, and Robin MacKinnon and grandson Dylan Withrow. She is also survived by former husbands Robert Withrow and Robert MacKinnon, brothers Hollis (Bettie Lou) Nicholson and John (Kathy) Nicholson as well as many nieces and nephews.
