Obituary of Arlene Louise Mowder

IN LOVING MEMORY 

 
Arlene Louise Mowder, daughter of Bruce and Mary Lesoing of Alliance, Nebraska, passed away of natural causes at her home in Lakewood on July 16, 2023.  Arlene lived a beautiful life of 88 years. 

 
Born April 12, 1935 in Alliance, Nebraska, she is predeceased by her husband Dario Tozzi, brother Merle Lesoing, sister Linda Dueker and Grandson Scott TJ Foremny.  

Arlene graduated from the University of Colorado. In addition to being a wonderful and caring mother, she was a pioneer in the growing field of Physical Therapy. In 1970, she established West Alameda Physical Therapy in Lakewood. One of the first businesses of this type in Colorado. Arlene enjoyed many years splitting her time between Colorado and her condo in Florida. She loved her sweet Italian Greyhounds, Brit and Piper and kitty Mitzi. 

 
Arlene is survived by her children, Denise Mowder and Juvenal Cortez of Denver, Colorado, Kevin and Lori Mowder of Eagle, Colorado, Kip Mowder and Wei-Li Huang of Sunnyvale, California, Kyle Mowder of Ft. Pierce, Florida and JJ Mowder-Tinney and Darryl Tinney of Rochester, New York. Grandchildren: Tony and Athena Mowder of Pullman, Washington, Alisha Mowder of Brooklyn, New York, Kristi Mowder of San Francisco, California, and Jen and Gregg Quinlin of Eagle, Colorado. Great-Grandchildren: Kennedy and McKinley Quinlin of Eagle, Colorado. 

A memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make a donation on Arlene’s behalf to the Italian Greyhound Rescue of Colorado or any organization that is close to your heart.
