Obituary of Janice Marie Alexander

Janice “Jan” Alexander, her maiden name was Niemeth. She was born July 16, 1949, and was raised in a tiny town named Herndon Kansas. After graduating high school, she moved to Denver Colorado, a place she fell in love with on a senior trip with her classmates. Once she moved, she met her future husband, Ralph Dawayne Williams, and they married in 1971.  She had one daughter with Williams, Michelle “Shelly”. Jan and Dawayne divorced in 1974.

Jan remarried in 1976 to Steven M Alexander from Arvada Colorado. Jan was an accounts payable employee that worked up till she was 70 years old, she worked in the oil industry in a job she loved. She was very prideful of her accomplishments while working and often spoke of her experiences.

Jan was a devout Catholic and was a member of the Saint Joan of Arc church in Arvada Colorado.

Jan passed away July 7th, 2023, at Lutheran Hospital from metastatic breast cancer. She is preceded in death by her husband, of 30 years, Steven M. Alexander in 2006.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Alexander, and her Grandchildren, Ayden Cohen, Anahleigh Cohen and Chloe Cohen.

Jan is loved and will be deeply missed.
