Obituary of Shirley Ann Mansfield

It is with deepest sorrow to announce the passing of Shirley Mansfield. Shirley died Saturday, August 26, 2023, comfortably at her home in Thornton, Colorado with her family by her side.

Ms. Mansfield was born Shirley Ann Steffek, in 1935 in Denver, Colorado, to parents Felix Steffek and Marguerite Hambin.

Shirley was the oldest of two children and lived with her grandmother during childhood while attending Annunciation Catholic Church. Shirley started nurturing at a young age and was a role model to her late sister and best friend Pat Peirce.

Shirley was a successful saleswomen, devout catholic, dedicated mother, supportive grandmother, proud great grandmother, and loving wife. Shirley had a smile so bright she could light up even the darkest of rooms.

Shirley is survived by her four children, Bill Jr., Deborah, Linda, and Patricia, and eight grandchildren. Her loving husband, Bill Mansfield, passed in 2004.

A memorial service will be hosted on August 31st by Holy Name Catholic Parish.
