Obituary of Jack Edward Perona
Jack Edward Perona was born to James and Amelia on December 1, 1935, in Royal Oak, Michigan. He passed away on December 10, 2023, after a very sudden decline in his health. Jack was 88 years of age.
Jack is survived by his wife Joy Perona; his son Scott Perona and his wife Chris, Scott’s four children Melissa, Garrett, Austin Lembeck and Carly Vogt and her husband Brian; his daughter Janelle Lohman and her husband Alan, Janelle’s three children Jerred and his wife Tara, Weston and his wife Jessica and Nathan; Great Grand Children Garrett’s Zoey; Jerred’s Kasen Nelson and Tegon; Weston’s Grayson, Kolston and Tenley (in spirit).
In 1953 Jack met his wife, Joy Oswald at a roller rink, finished college, got married on July 10, 1957, and bought their first home in Warren Michigan.
After spending many years as an engineer in the auto industry, in early 1970, Jack decided to take his wife and two children, Scott and Janelle, and move to Colorado to begin a new career as a salesperson for Hilshire Farms. In 1983, Jack and Joy moved to Missouri Lakes II in Black Hawk, Colorado.
Before and after retiring, Jack loved to camp and travel. He and Joy spent many winters in Arizona and hated coming back to the snow that Black Hawk liked to hold on to well into May. In his spare time, he would make beautiful wood furniture. Jack loved his family, had a wonderful sense of humor and was the life of the party. He will be dearly missed.
