Obituary of James Dennis Patterson
Jim/Jimmy is survived by his wife Glenda Patterson, daughter Morgan Pace (husband Jerry Pace), sister-in-law Linda Wiltz (husband Cole Wiltz), sister Lynn Velasquez (husband Dave Velasquez) and many additional special friends and family that meant so much to him.
Jim/Jimmy was a passionate chef and loved what he did for a living. He loved to cook for friends, family, and events. He was a chef to his core and enjoyed educating and sharing his expertise with others. He cooked and catered many events, and he was well respected and known for his food and work. He developed many great relationships at every job he had and was loved by many in his profession. In the last years of his life, he reignited a passion for baking and especially loved to bake cookies and banana bread.
Jim/Jimmy was an incredible husband, dad, father-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, friend, man, and chef. His smile was unforgettable, his laugh was infectious, and his sense of humor was unmatched. He was always positive and a glass half full kind of guy. If anyone was having a bad day, he was the one that could always make you smile or calm you down. He lived life to the fullest, making sure he had fun no matter the situation. He was someone that loved to be busy and sitting still drove him crazy. He was incredibly strong and maintained a positive attitude no matter what.
There is not a day that will go by you won’t be missed. You impacted so many lives and you are so loved. Rest in peace you gentle soul. We hope you’re partying with the best of them, cooking with all your passion, and enjoying the other side like the pain never existed. We know how lucky God is to have gained such a soul. We love you!
